Battery-maker Exide Industries is looking to buy out INGâ€™s 26 per cent stake in its Indian life insurance venture, ING Life, two sources close to the development told NDTV. The company has submitted its proposal to the insurance regulator, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority or IRDA, to buy out the stake and become the majority shareholder, the sources added.
