State Bank of India extended donations to Social Welfare Organisations

 

 

 

As a part of Corporate Social Responsibilities, State Bank of India has extended financial assistance to the tune of Rs.48 lac to 9 different social welfare organisations.

 

 

 

Bank’s Bengal Circle Chief General Manager Shri Sunil Srivastava at a function held on 15th July 2013 at Bank’s Local Head Office, Kolkata, presented the donation cheques to the organisations in presence of Bank’s General Managers Shri R. Arumugapandi, Smt. Anuradha Rao and DGM & CDO Sri Pradeep Mehrotra.

 

The donation amount will be utilised by the organisations to procure school bus for physically challenged students, solar lamps for distribution to households at different villages, computers for computer training centre, school benches and fans for class rooms, utility trolley and chairs for children’s treatment centre, book-selves and cabinets for library, Generator Sets for teachers’ training schools and construction of temporary jetty at Bali Islands, Sunderbans for transportation of patients and materials at the health centre.
