Major fire breaks out in LIC office in Lucknow

Recently, a major fire broke out in the Hazratganj, Lucknow office of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India. The fire started at 9:30 pm when the office was closed due to which there was no casualty.

The fire completely burnt down the first floor of LIC building and destroyed all files, computers, etc. The firemen took a little  more than an hour to battle with the flames and extinguish the fire.

The cause of the fire is unknown but the Chief Fire Officer, Ramdhari Singh said that the cause of fire could be a short circuit  since the office was shut and no one was inside.
