L&T General Insurance Medicash Card to speed up cashless claim authorisation

Private general insurer L & T General Insurance has launched a card to facilitate instant cashless claim authorisation.The card has been launched under the brand name Medicash Card.

 

 

Launched in association with E-Meditek Global it will help reduce the authorisation time significantly. “This  card allows instant authorisation and on- the-spot payment, making the crucial period of wait almost negligible,” L&T Insurance Chief Executive & Whole-Time Director Joydeep Roy said recently.

 

“This card will significantly reduce the time required to get cashless approval compared to the existing approval models,” Roy said.

 

The new facility will be available for corporate group health customers as of now and will be rolled out for retail customers in future.
