IRDA circular: Re-constitution of Committee of Surveyors and Loss Assessors in terms of

The Committee of Surveyors and Loss Assessors constituted vide order Ref. No.IRDA/NL/ORD/Misc.208/09/2011 dated 8th September, 2011, in terms of Regulation 11 of the Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors (Licensing, Professional requirements and Code of Conduct), Regulations, 2000 hereby stands re-constituted with immediate effect.

The re-constituted Committee of Surveyors and Loss Assessors is hereby constituted with immediate effect in terms of Regulation 11 of the Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors.

This reconstituted committee shall consist of the following members:-
1. Shri. Randip Singh J., Joint Director (Non-Life), IRDA, Chairman
2. Ms. Asha Nair, GM, UII, HO Chennai, Member
3. Shri R. K. Elango, Licensed Surveyor and Loss Assessors (SLA-15978),Member
4. Shri Ashok Kumar, Licensed Surveyor and Loss Assessors (SLA-30881),Member
5. Shri Ashim Sanyal, Policyholder, Member

However, the term of the Committee shall be for a period of three years from the date of its constitution i.e. 8th September, 2011 and will exercise the functions referred to in Regulations 12 of the Insurance Surveyors & Loss Assessors (Licensing, Professional requirements and Code of Conduct), Regulations, 2000.
