TATA AIA Life’s Divya Tusnial wins Inspirational Agent of the year at 3rd Asia Trusted Life & Advisers Awards 2018

Divya Tusnial, a senior insurance advisor from Tata AIA Life Insurance was awarded the “Inspirational Agent of the year” at the recently concluded 3rd Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards 2018. The award was presented to her for her continued contribution to the insurance industry by way of sharing her success formulae and inspirational journey of transformation to help advisers achieve breakthroughs.
Held in Manila, Philippines, the awards offer a platform to recognize the best in life insurance agency and advisory across Asia. This year’s winners emerged from seven markets: India, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Divya’s is an incredible journey of transformation from a housewife and mother of two daughters in a traditional Indian family to a supremely successful insurance professional who has achieved five MDRTs, (Million Dollar Round Table) one COT (Court of the Table) and three TOTs (Top of the Table) from 2008 to 2017 saw her crowned as Insurance Agent of the Year at last year’s 2nd Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards.
Her performance increased by five-fold as she produced over five times the TOT requirement in 2017. With a persistency of 94.16%., she has delivered quality business over the year. She is also a recipient of LIMRA International Quality Award for her excellent record of maintaining inforce business.

The winners emerged out of around 400 contenders from 50 companies in a rigorous and transparent two-stage judging process audited by EY. In the first round, remote judging was conducted to select the finalists. In the second round, judges came together to discuss the finalists face-to-face and to arrive at the winners through a secret ballot. The judging panel consisted of 26 distinguished industry leaders and experts.
