New Health Plan launched by Bajaj Allianz

A top-up health insurance plan “Extra Care Plus” has been launched by the Bajaj Allianz General Insurance, offering cover for pre-existing diseases and maternity expenses with a waiting period of just 12 months. It also has a feature of aggregate deductibles in the policy wherein multiple claims during the policy period can be clubbed to cross the deductible amount and trigger the claim payout. The benefits can be availed in case of higher expenses over and above aggregate deductible limits and up to the sum insured in the policy. The premium for a Rs. 10-lakh policy (Rs. 10 lakh cover, Rs. 5 lakh deductible) for individuals in the age group 31-35 years is Rs. 1,930 plus taxes, while the premium for those between 36 and 45 years is Rs. 2,193 plus taxes.
