Cure search for Alzheimer

Columbia University in New York suggests it is still possible to recall memories because they are not completely wiped by the disease, just made harder to access. They had carried out a successful research on mice. Using lasers, scientists found that when brain cells which store memories were stimulated in mice with Alzheimer’s, they appeared to remember a lemon smell they had previously “forgotten”. Listening to music sometimes has a similar effect for Alzheimer’s patients, helping unearth long-lost memories.
