UNITED INDIA INSURANCE RECEIVES SKOTCH FINANCIAL INCLUSION AWARD 2011

Shri G.Srinivasan,CMD,United India Insurance Company received “SKOCH Financial Inclusion Award 2011” from Shri K C Chakrabarty, Deputy Governor, Reserve Bank of India.

United India Insurance Company has won the Award for successful implementation of various financial inclusion initiatives. The company is striving to reach out to the economically and socially weaker sections of the society, joining hands with the Union and State governments and has successfully implemented the Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) in the state of Kerala. It has IT enabled the entire life-cycle of the policy from applications to settlements.

Skoch Awards, the civilian awards distributed by Skoch Consultancy Services, are meant to honour extraordinary achievements in various fields such as governance, capacity building,empowerment, inclusive growth, citizen services delivery, technology, academics and change management.
