IRDA News: Guidelines on Persistency of Life Insurance Policies now also applicable to Corporate Agents

In February 2011 IRDA had issued Guidelines for Individual Agents for Persistency of Life Insurance Policies. Now IRDA has made these guidelines applicable to corporate insurance agents as well. The whole guidelines will be applicable to corporate agents with immediate effect.

IRDA has issued draft Regulations on Bancassurance Agents to be called as IRDA (Licensing of Bancassurance Agents) Regulations, 2011. IRDA is inviting comments/suggestions of all stake holders on the Exposure Draft.
