Religare Health Insurance in talks with government to provide health schemes

Religare Health Insurance is in talks with the central and state governments to provide services in government-sponsored health schemes. The move is aimed at helping people below poverty line.

 

The insurer is planning launch two products soon – one in retail health insurance and another in group heath insurance. Religare Health is waiting IRDA approval.

It has also plans to enter travel insurance, critical illness, personal accident and disease specific products segment and would launch the products in a phased manner in the next few quarters.
