Fellowship Syllabus of III revised from October 2011

Insurance Institute of India has revised the syllabus for Fellowship examination with effect from October 2011. The candidates are required to clear 6 papers from the following. Credit will be granted as per details below to the subjects which have been removed from the Fellowship course.

 

FELLOWSHIP TRANSITIONAL ARRANGEMENT: Fellowship Any 6 subject from the Following;
1. IC81 Mathematical Basis of Life Assurance
2 IC82 Statistics
3 IC83 Group Insurance and Retirement Benefit Schemes
4 IC 84/A-2 Foundation of Casualty Actuarial Science – II
5 IC85 Re-Insurance
6 IC86 Risk Management
7 IC88 Marketing and Public Relations
8 IC89 Financial Management / Management Accounting
9 IC90 Human Resource Management
10 IC92 Actuarial Aspects of Product Development
11 IC99 Asset Management

Notes for candidates
1. Any Six subjects are required to be cleared.

2. As per the revised syllabus w.e.f .October 2011, IC84/A-2 ‘Foundation of Casualty Actuarial Science Part – II’ (Non-Life) and IC92 ‘Actuarial Aspects of Product Development’ two new subjects are introduced in Fellowship Examination.

3. In respect of subjects IC81, 82,83,85,86,88,89,90 and 99 Passed candidates will get exemptions in corresponding revised subject.

4. In respect of subject IC87 Law and Economics, candidate will get benefit of pass upto Oct.2012, thereafter if candidate did not pass fellowship Examination, he/ she has to select another subject as per revised syllabus.

5. Similarly Candidates passed IC97 ‘Legal Aspects of Industrial Relations’ and IC98 ‘Advanced Information Technology’ will get benefit up to Oct.2012, thereafter if such candidate did not pass fellowship Exam, he/ she has to take another subjects as per the revised syllabus.

6. Existing Candidates are allowed to continue their subjects up to Oct.2012 thereafter, all such existing candidates ( if they did not clear Fellowship exam.) have to take other subjects as per revised curriculum. 7. The Fellowship Examination as per the revised Structure will be conducted from OCTOBER 2011.
