Cloud over health cover scheme in Rajasthan

Bhamashah Swasthya Bima Yojana in Rajasthan has witnessed rising instances of fraud and claims.  In order to make the scheme viable, the extensive fraudulent practices must be resolved, especially if the Centre wants to get more insurance companies on board in its pet insurance plan Ayushman Bharat yojana. New India Assurance – the insurer offering the scheme issued de-empanelment notices to over 100 hospitals a few months ago, a chunk  which was revoked by the government.
