Anamika Roy appointed as MD &CEO of IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Company

Ms. Anamika Roy Rashtrawar has been appointed as the MD and CEO of IFFCO Tokio General Insurance Company. Ms. Roy an executive leader with 33 years of rich experience in the General Insurance Industry and has pioneered many first initiatives in the industry. She successfully headed the first direct agent’s branch of National Insurance, established the general insurance agency distribution framework, and set up the All-women’s branches in Bajaj Allianz General Insurance India besides working across all functions of a general insurer. Her strength of distribution is coupled with technical skills, which help her focus relentlessly on every transformational role undertaken to build a sustainable delivery mechanism for the organization. She has a unique skill of handing both retail as well as the corporate insurance business. She has spent an equal number of years in the public and in the private sector which gives her the cutting edge experience in the general insurance space. She is a fellow of the Insurance Institute of India and a CPCU from AIICPCU. She has held many leadership positions at different stages of her life – right from school, through college to various profiles. Winning the Chevening scholarship for women in management and being selected as one of the top 100 women in Allianz globally bears testimony to the leadership and management skills.
