3 lakh people benefited from Ayushman Bharat scheme: Finance Minister

According to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley as many as 3 lakh poor people have benefited from Ayushman Bharat health scheme in the last one-and-a-half months. “We are now close to about 3 lakh people in the last month and a half who have already benefited from hospitalisation under Ayushman Bharat and these are people belonging to the 10 crore poorest families in India,” Jaitley said.
