Third Party Administrators Vis-A-Vis HEALTH SERVICES

Third Party Administrators are the middlemen in the health care delivery chain, which links physicians, hospitals, clinics, home health, long-term care facilities and pharmacies.  In India TPAs are separate entities and they service more than one insurer at a time.  TPAs are governed by the IRDA (Third Party Administrators-Health Services) Regulations, 2001.
