Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance gross written premium rises to Rs. 5,567 crore

Private sector Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance has posted a 13.4 per cent increase in gross written premium to Rs.5,567 crore in the first nine months of the fiscal, against Rs.4,908 crore a year ago. During the period, individual rated new business premium also grew by 14 per cent to Rs.1,053 crore, compared to Rs. 923 crore between April and December 2017. “The company’s average ticket size also moved up by 22 per cent to Rs.53,586 in the first nine months of the fiscal from Rs.43,865 a year ago,” it said.
